The Optimist Sees Opportunity in Every Difficulty

optimism

Dear warriors,

As part of this Month of Optimism, I’d like to share with you some advice to increase self-confidence and become more productive persons.
First of all, let’s keep in mind that by harboring negative feelings and attitudes such as fears, anxiety and worries we keep ourselves from reaching our true goals.
But how can we avoid not worrying about failure or about not being able to realize all of our goals?

1. Let’s revise our goals and dreams and establish realistic plans with gradual deadlines and clear objectives that make them easier to reach. Instead of locking ourselves in those projects that did not flourish, let’s focus on what is achievable and that little by little we will be able to reach.

2. Let’s be honest with us and define our fears, doubts and worries and draft new strategies of change. As long as we cling to the same attitudes and do nothing about it, it will be very difficult for our situation to change.

3. Let’s reject any word of despondency, those we say to ourselves as well as those that come from other people, that can have a negative impact on our lives.

4. Let’s identify life experiences or people that serve as an inspiration. Thus, we must review our circle of friends and acquaintances, since they could be hurting us unknowingly.

5. Oftentimes we do not value our own achievements and results, and it is extremely important to do this every day and to remember those good things that we have achieved, instead on focusing on our failures.

You can become an optimistic and focused individual! With the help of these words of advice, you can take a daily step forward toward a better life. Choose to know how to live.
Until we meet again.

Many blessings!

Recipe for Good Leadership

My dear friends,
Every good leader has a little recipe for being successful, and I would like to share with you the secret ingredients, which, in reality, are not so secret.

Honesty + Values + Credibility = Good Leader.

Let’s begin with honesty. This ingredient exposes the decency of a leader within the integrity of his or her actions, since his or her intentions override personal wishes or interests. But what does it mean to be honest? It means to have the courage to tell the truth, to be decent, reserved, reasonable, just and sincere. All these traits are essential for a leader who wishes to communicate coherently and with the sincerity needed to carry out an excellent service in the community.

The second ingredient for a good leader is values. A good leader knows how to live with these values, which are the principles that allow us to guide our behavior through our individual formation. These values are fundamental beliefs that help us prefer, appreciate and choose certain things rather than others, behaviour included. The good leader presents his or her values before all problems and all people. For a good leader to be able to demand of others clear answers of their actions, he or she must first demonstrate and reflect an honest personal attitude, and this applies also to his or her solutions to any problem. Finally, the third essential ingredient is credibility. Credibility is a stength that will be useful both in our personal and professional life, since it accelerates our growth. And at the same time that it generates a solid relation of trust with other people, it rewards us with the acceptance by clients and the general public of any products or services offered.

It’s essential to know that if all these ingredients are not combined correctly, we will not get the end results expected. A good leader cannot have any credibility without giving his or her values the importance that they merit. In order to have and maintain credibility, values and beliefs are fundamental. This should be communicated effectively to those who pursue capturing and influencing others with their principles. A true leader never loses sight of his or her credibility and knows perfectly what are the pillars that support his or her power not only in the present, but also in the future. Choose to know how to live.

Until we meet again.

Many blessings!

Success is not the absence of failure

Key to success

Key to success

Dear friends,
Let’s keep in mind that we have vowed not to give up, and this is of vital importance because “those who stop never win, and those who win never stop”.

When we fear failure or mistakes, we keep ourselves from learning and correcting errors. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that we realize that what keeps us stagnant, as a person is not failure in itself, but rather the FEAR of it.

So what’s the good news? Well, the good news is that both fear and failure are surmountable. Both of these things can be overcome, and success is always reachable, even amongst failure and fear. Let me tell you that life is a rollercoaster and failure is inevitable, for we will always have ups and downs and occasional bumps in the road. Not everything can be a win-win situation because perfection does not exist. But failure can make us stop on our tracks and lead us to the right path, as it allows us to analyze and reflect upon the ground where we stand. So in the end, failure ceases to be just that and becomes a valuable life lesson.

On the other hand, fear is an emotion that most of us have and don’t know how to manage. Fear can only cause obstacles in life; they delay our process of self-improvement and make us feel bad. But you must remember that all fears can be tamed, because the only thing that can stop us from a better life is actually ourselves! This barrier exists in every one of us, yet we must learn how to overfly it. Fear will only bring worries and crush any efforts that we have made to reach a goal.

Always remember “he who risks nothing, gains nothing”. We all have our fears, and that is perfectly normal and acceptable. What’s important is to keep fear from interrupting our personal growth, and we must also remember that we have tools to reach success and well-being in our lives.

Repeat to yourself: “I CAN, and I WILL become better than yesterday”. Choose to know how to live.

Until we meet again.
Many blessings!
